“From North to South
It doesn’t matter which part of town you’re in 🙂 I love eating period so I personally picked out the best hangout spots right around the corner!
South: Tavern Asia
Weekend gimiks don’t always have to involve insane amounts of oily sisig and crispy pata. Do your taste buds a favor and head to resto-bar Tavern Asia on your next night out.
You’ll fall in love with the unique Asian cuisine: must tries are the Cream Dori with Mango Salsa, Red Beef Curry, and Fried Banana Dumplings. When you’ve had your fill of their fusion fare, unwind in the cozy outdoor cabanas and enjoy house music from guest DJ’s, or dance the night away to the hippest R&B tunes.
The best part? Their dishes are affordable, and unlike high-end party places, they don’t charge entrance fees. When Sunday rolls in, there’ll be enough cash in your pocket and no need to impose a strict, no-grease diet for the rest of the week.

North: Route 196
You’re doing a great job at being one of the boys- you’re laid back, low maintenance, and game for anything. But you’re tired of having Wii showdowns and pigging out chips every Friday, and here’s where Route 196 comes in. While this artsy bar is low-key enough to be your steady chill spot, it offers enough exciting events to keep you coming back. Talented musicians perform every day, and amateur bands can audition for regular gigs on monthly Jumpstart Nights. Plus, you’ll be an instant fan of their thin-crust pizzas (try the Noypi, which has kesong puti and tinapa). So you can continue being that cool gal pal all the guys adore.
